UI Directs Returning Students to Complete Health Form for 2025/2026 Accommodation

The University of Ibadan (UI), through its Student Affairs Division, has on the 9th of January, 2026, directed all returning students seeking on-campus accommodation for the 2025/2026 academic session to complete the University Health Service (UHS) Requisite Form as part of the application process.


According to an official notice issued by the Dean of Students, Dr. Demola Lewis, the completion of the UHS Requisite Form is a compulsory requirement for consideration for accommodation and must be done before students can proceed with hostel applications on the university portal.


The notice states that the UHS Requisite Form will close by 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, with no extension. Students are also required to upload a scanned copy of their Jaja card during the completion of the form.


The university further emphasized that all final-year students and those in concessional categories, including MBBS students and physically challenged students, must complete the form before they can be considered for accommodation. The institution also warned students against the falsification of documents information. 


According to the statement released, the University of Ibadan accommodation portal is scheduled to be opened for hostel applications from Friday, February 13  to Thursday, February 19, 2026.

OSISANWO BECOMES FULL PROFESSOR AT THE DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH Zenas Olanipekun Dr. Ayo Osisanwo of the Department of English, University of Ibadan has received his promotion to become a full Professor, effective October 1st, 2025 . He is now Professor Ayodele A. Osisanwo. His field cuts across Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis.
