In a statement released on Saturday, 20th June 2026, through the association's President, Akinteye Babatunde Azeez, on his verified X page (formerly known as Twitter), the President condemned the consequences of the delay on the beneficiaries of the initiative. "I have it on good authority that the disbursement of students' upkeep allowances has been on hold for the past two months, with no clear explanation or accountability from the relevant authorities.
