University of Ibadan Reactivates Students’ Portal for 2025/2026 Academic Session

Today, 26th February, 2026, the management of the University of Ibadan has updated the students’ portal for the 2025/2026 academic session.


The portal has been reactivated for course registration, payment of school fees, and accommodation fees for the new academic session, 2025/2026.


However as of the time of filing this report, the portal had not yet provided the specific amounts for school fees and accommodation for each student.


To recall, the students’ portal is believed by the student community to be often reactivated after the Senate sits to consider and release the results of the previous session.

    Mine has changed to 2024/2025 but has not begun to display other things

 DR. AYODELE A. OSISANWO BECOMES FULL PROFESSOR AT THE DEPARTMENT OF ENGLISH Zenas Olanipekun Dr. Ayo Osisanwo of the Department of English, University of Ibadan has received his promotion to become a full Professor, effective October 1st, 2025 . He is now Professor Ayodele A. Osisanwo. His field cuts across Pragmatics and Discourse Analysis. In an interview with the NASELS Press, he admitted that the validation process started a year ago, but the journey itself involved burning the midnight oil, considering the number of papers he had to write and submit for assessment. When asked how he feels about the promotion, he said, “attaining the professorate is usually something of joy, something one prays about and something many desire." He is grateful to have achieved the great feat in a year stating the fact that the process is not usually easy.”  Professor Osisanwo is a widely published lecturer whose research has appeared in both national and international journals.

NASELS Press Holds Picnic and Handover Ceremony, Unveils New Editorial Board By Esther Ogunleye  The Nigerian Association of English and Literary Studies (NASELS) Press held its picnic and handover ceremony on 21st December, 2025, marking the official transition from the outgoing editorial board to the newly elected executives. The event, beginning with the press prayer, combined fun activities with formal proceedings, bringing together members of the press in a relaxed but composed atmosphere. It served both as a celebration of the outgoing team’s efforts and a call to greater responsibility for the new leadership.
