The University of Ibadan Students' Union Calls Stakeholders’ Meeting after 48-Hour Ultimatum on Power Supply

The University of Ibadan Students' Union in a notice signed by the Union's President, T. S Adeboye, has convened an Emergency Stakeholders' Meeting after a 48-hour ultimatum to the University Management over the campus power supply crisis expired by 7:00 PM on Tuesday, April 28.
The notice reads: “Following the expiration of the ultimatum and in view of the continued irregular power supply across campus, the Students' Union remains concerned about the ongoing discomfort, academic disruption and welfare challenges faced by the students”.
The meeting is scheduled for April 30 at 4:00 PM in the SRC Chamber, with mandatory attendance for the SRC Speaker, Hall Chairpersons, Faculty Presidents, Faculty Councillors and the Departmental Presidents.
The notice further states that decisions reached will determine the Union's next steps and further updates are expected following the meeting.
