The University of Ibadan Students' Union, led by Adeboye Temidayo (DEBOYE), has announced an extension of the add-and-delete deadline for the 2025/2026 academic session, which was earlier scheduled to close on 14th August 2026.

According to a short statement obtained via the official WhatsApp status of the Students' Union President, Comrade Adeboye Temidayo (DEBOYE), the extension was secured following engagement with the University management.

"The closure of the Add and Delete Portal, earlier scheduled for tomorrow, has been granted a one-week extension. The portal will therefore remain open until Friday, 21st August," the statement read.

The union further enjoined students to make good use of the grace period: "Students who still have issues with their course registration or need to make necessary additions or deletions are advised to make use of this grace period and ensure that their course forms are properly sorted before the new deadline."

The extension, the statement noted, was secured in consideration of students who still have pending academic registration issues.

"Please make good use of this opportunity," the statement added.
